Illustration Work — Stephanie Wieland

My illustration practice is rooted in observation — the particular light of a morning walk, the colour of a market in Lisbon, the texture of something handmade. I work across editorial, brand, and publishing, bringing the same attention to a children's book as to a brand campaign.

Growing up across multiple countries gave me a visual vocabulary that doesn't belong to one aesthetic tradition. That shows up in how I use colour and form — warm but not sentimental, familiar but not predictable.

A full children's book illustration project — character design, narrative world, and visual language built from scratch. The brief was to create something that felt genuinely handmade: warm, a little wild, and full of the kind of detail kids want to return to.
